Syzygium 'Cascade'
'Cascade' is the most colourful Lilly Pillies available. Forming a round busy shrub with flowing 'Cascades' of drooping red growth changing through shades of pink to green as new foliage ages. Flowers are 8-10cm PINK Pom Pom clusters tipped with gold forming on the ends of the hanging branches. They attract honeyeaters and bees. Strong and hardy growing 2-3m high with a spread of 1.2m, thriving in full sun or part shade, in a moist position, it is best to water it during dry times. Flowers are followed by bunches of bright red edible lilly pilly berries. Prune to shape after flowering. It is a hybrid of Syzygium leuhmannii and Syzygium wulsonii
